How COVID Has Changed Us

Our highest priority has been and will continue to be the safety of our community, our resident families, and our volunteers. With that, FUSION has followed all state and federal guidelines to combat COVID-19. We are proud of our preparedness plan that gave us a roadmap for health safety, a guide we will continue to follow as we get back to more normal routines.

The reality is that COVID-19 has touched all of us. The last few years have been especially trying for our disadvantaged population, and for organizations like FUSION that provide housing and support services for families experiencing homelessness. Now, more than ever, families are coming out of the COVID-19 fog and beginning to face the end of safety nets like the eviction moratorium, relief packages and deferred expenses.

In addition, just as the nation is experiencing labor shortages, FUSION too is experiencing volunteer shortages. Our organization prides itself on providing qualified staff and caring volunteers to keep our doors open and our families protected, safe and healthy.

And for all this, we need your help. Just as we have for nearly three decades, we will get through these trying times as a community! Here are the ways you can help us continue our mission.

  • One of the most effective and easiest ways to support FUSION immediately is with a financial contribution. Your donation will help us cover the operating expenses for each of the programs that serve our families.
  • Consider volunteering. With a vast network of help needed, there are volunteer opportunities for every skillset and time allowance. Please join our cause and donate your time.
  • Make a legacy contribution to our FUSION Endowment Fund. This fund is growing and, with your help, will provide ongoing financial support for many years to come.
  • Share the good work of FUSION with your friends and family. Be an advocate for change by using your voice on social media and in real life. Ask others to join you in your support of our community.

FUSION continues to be ever grateful for a community that shares the love and generosity that founded our organization.
You bring hope to our families every day!
