Halloween traditions of dressing up, eating candy, and trick-or-treating are truly magical. For the children served by FUSION, Halloween costumes, crafts, and activities don’t make the list of essentials in the family budget. For those reasons we are hosting a costume-drive and Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 29th from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center.
You can help bring imaginations to life for the kids served by FUSION by helping out in three easy ways!
1. VOLUNTEER
We need a few volunteers prior to the event and even more during the event. Here is what we are looking for:
- A few volunteers to help organize the costume “shopping” days. (Dates TBA)
- 20 “Trunker” volunteers to decorate their vehicle trunks, come in costume, and hand out candy. Event is from 2-4 PM, but trunkers will need to arrive by 1 PM to get set-up. Space is limited so please RSVP if you’d like to participate.
- 4-6 volunteers to help the kids with crafting activities.
- 4-6 volunteers to help serve food.
2. DONATE
Make a financial contribution to help the event. We are seeking:
- 2 x $250 Craft Sponsors
- $300 Face Painter
- Funds to support the event
3. COSTUMES
Donate new or gently used, family-friendly, costumes for all ages:
- All ages and all sizes
- Props welcome too
- Drop off at The Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center 24/7
Donations may be dropped off at the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center. The Center is staffed 24/7 so feel free to drop them off any day/time.
