FUSION Trunk or Treat
Halloween is a special time for kids—dressing up, enjoying sweet treats, making crafts, and celebrating together. But for families experiencing homelessness, a Halloween costume and the extras that make the holiday special may not fit into the family budget.
That’s why FUSION is kicking off a Halloween Costume Drive leading up to the big day! Thanks to generous donations, FUSION kiddos will have the opportunity to “shop” for their own costumes and accessories at our special costume store before Halloween, so they can be ready to celebrate in style.
Then, on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM, join us at the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center for our annual Trunk or Treat! This family-friendly event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to join the fun. We’ll have decorated trunks, food, crafts and activities for the whole family, and plenty of Halloween spirit!
And this year, we’re adding a little extra giving to the fun! Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to FUSION families and help make the season a little brighter for families in our community.
Bring your family, bring a food donation, and come enjoy a fun-filled Halloween afternoon with FUSION!
You can help bring imaginations to life for the kids served by FUSION by helping out in three easy ways!
1. VOLUNTEER
- 4-6 volunteers to help manage the Halloween “shop” prior to the event.
- 25 “Trunker” volunteers to decorate their vehicle trunks, come in costume, and hand out candy. Event is from 2-4 PM, but trunkers will need to arrive by 1 PM to get set-up. Space is limited so please RSVP if you’d like to participate.
- 4-6 volunteers to help serve food.
2. DONATE
- 2 x $200 Craft Sponsors
- 2 x $250 Food Sponsors
- $300 Face Painter
- Funds to support the event
3. COSTUMES
- All ages and all sizes
- Props welcome too
- Drop off at The Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center 24/7
Donations may be dropped off at the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center. The Center is staffed 24/7 so feel free to drop them off any day/time.
