Hello Friends of FUSION,
We welcome 2020, as FUSION has much to celebrate in this new year! Our organization continues to gain momentum after purchasing the Econo Lodge in Federal Way that will serve the community as a new family emergency shelter.
The FUSION Family Center (FFC), a 29-unit emergency shelter paired with supportive services, will be formally established and we anticipate welcoming our first families in mid-July 2020.
Demolition and renovation will begin this month, with help from the many hearts and hands of our FUSION volunteers. Our goal by January 2021 is to shelter 29 families in Federal Way who are experiencing homelessness.
At the FFC, families will have a safe place to call home while gaining the stability they need to secure employment and permanent housing to become self-sufficient.
We are counting on our wonderful volunteers, our community, and our partner agencies to help us further create a fusion of support for our program. Thank you for your support of FUSION and we look forward to a year of new growth!
In Service and Gratitude,
Robin O’Grady
