At FUSION, we deeply appreciate the unwavering generosity of our community and supporters. Your donations are the lifeblood of our organization, enabling us to provide vital shelter and comprehensive support services to families experiencing homelessness. Without your contributions, our mission to offer a safe, stable environment and the tools necessary for families to rebuild their lives would not be possible. Every donation, whether monetary or in-kind, plays a crucial role in transforming lives and fostering hope. We are profoundly grateful for your support and commitment to making a lasting impact in our community.

Items We Need Donated

Baby Supplies

Baby items play a crucial role in supporting families within our community. We are especially in need of diapers (particularly in larger sizes), pull-ups, baby wipes, formula, new or gently used Pack ‘n Plays, bottles, and binkies. Your generous donations will help ensure that infants and toddlers receive the care and comfort they need. You can shop the list below – or bring new or gently used items to the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center at 1505 S 328th St, Federal Way, WA 98003.

Household Items

You can help FUSION by donating essential household items for our Transitional Housing homes. We are in need of new or like new: dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cups & glasses, kitchen supplies, bathroom accessories & linens. These contributions will help create a comfortable and functional living environment for families as they work towards stability and independence. Your support in donating these items is greatly appreciated and will make a significant impact on the lives of those in our community.

Finally Home Fund

The shortage of low-income housing and high landlord requirements make it hard for homeless families to secure permanent housing. Initial costs like application fees, rent, and deposits add to the burden. Limited rental assistance from agencies depletes quickly.

To help, FUSION’s Finally Home fund covers these initial costs for employed families ready to sustain rent but lacking the resources to move in.

Beds & Mattresses

Do you have spare beds to donate to our Family Center and Transitional Housing families? We need new or gently used mattresses, box springs, and metal frames in twin, full, and queen sizes. Please, no items that are saggy, soiled or stained.

Contact us at 253-874-1257 or fusiondonation@gmail.com for drop-off instructions or to schedule a pick-up.

Furniture for Housing

Our housing units come fully furnished with beds, furniture & appliances.  All donations must be clean and in good condition; we do not accept broken furniture, appliances needing repair, or items that are significantly worn. We  welcome small sofas, chairs, dinette sets, coffee tables, nightstands, lamps, pictures, and other accessories that make a house a home.

Your donations will support these young learners, promoting their physical health and self-esteem. Please donate new shoes in all sizes and styles to help us make a difference in our community.

Shoes can be dropped off at the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center at 1505 S 328th St, Federal Way, WA 98003.

Annual Gala

Volunteering for our annual gala, held every August, is an extraordinary opportunity to make a significant impact on our community. As the major fundraiser of the year, this event is crucial for securing the resources needed to support our programs and initiatives. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the gala’s success, from planning and organizing to managing activities on the event day. Your contribution not only helps create a memorable experience for attendees but also directly supports our mission and vision. Join us in making this year’s gala the best yet and be a part of something truly special!

Volunteer Your Time

FUSION’s impactful work is driven by dedicated volunteers who contribute thousands of hours annually to help families facing homelessness. Volunteers can join the Housing Team to maintain transitional housing, assist at the FUSION Décor Boutique resale store, support staff at the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center emergency shelter, or help at the Poverty Bay Café. Marketing volunteers spread the word about FUSION, while others can assist with the Summer Gala fundraising event or serve on the Board of Directors and various committees. Every contribution, big or small, helps FUSION thrive. Contact volunteers@fusionfederalway.org to get involved.

In Kind Donations

In-kind donations play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide shelter and comprehensive support services to families in need. These non-cash contributions—ranging from household items and furniture to professional services and supplies—directly enhance the quality of life for our residents and help us maintain our facilities. By donating goods and services, you enable us to allocate more resources towards essential programs and outreach efforts. Every item donated helps create a welcoming and stable environment for those we serve, ensuring that they have the necessary tools to rebuild their lives.  To start the donation process, please email us at info@fusionhousing.org
