The start of a new school year should be filled with excitement, new experiences, and the confidence to learn and grow. For children experiencing homelessness, however, something as simple as having a new pair of shoes can make a meaningful difference.
At FUSION, we want every child in our housing programs to start the school year feeling prepared and confident. Our goal is to raise $4,500 to provide all 107 children currently in FUSION housing programs with a brand-new pair of shoes.
A new pair of shoes is more than something to wear to school. It can help a child feel ready to participate, play, learn, and be part of their school community—starting the year on the right foot.
