FUSION, in collaboration with the City of Federal Way, took proactive measures to address the cold weather conditions in January. Together, they offered a severe weather shelter for five nights, contributing a total of 116 bed nights.
In addition to accommodation, FUSION extended support by providing meals, showers, cold weather gear, and hygiene items as per individual requests. Due to high demand, some clients received assistance through motel vouchers, as the Family Center reached its capacity, highlighting the organization’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of those in need during adverse weather conditions.
