Robin’s Spotlight April 2020

Robin’s Spotlight March 2021

Hello Friends of FUSION,

We hope that all of you and your families are safe and well and that you are finding some solace during these uncertain times.

Our FUSION families are facing new and challenging hardships as many are currently separated or have been permanently discharged from employment, are homeschooling their children for the first time, and are learning new skill sets to advocate for themselves and their families to secure basic need resources in the community.

It is a blessing that our FUSION families are with us at this time and are secure in knowing they will not be returned to homelessness. We are walking shoulder to shoulder with them and have increased our support services in response to current need. Families are meeting by phone and by video chat with our case management staff, and we continue to assist them in navigating difficult emotional and financial challenges and support family stability.

One FUSION family recently shared:

“We feel safe and are able to recover after years of being homeless. FUSION is the best! Lifesaver!”

Leading a nonprofit through a pandemic is new territory for me as well! As new challenges occur, so do new opportunities. FUSION has been able to hone our virtual communication skills, to work more closely together seeking solutions to new challenges, and to appreciate the work of our outstanding Volunteers and Employees at the deepest level.

We are a resilient and flexible organization, and together we will continue to succeed. Please feel free to reach out for any questions you may have during our modified operations at info@fusionhousing.org.

Be safe and be well,

Robin O’Grady
FUSION Executive Director
