Families in the FUSION Transitional Housing program celebrated the season with brimming food baskets and gifts courtesy of three Federal Way companies. In a difficult year of navigating pandemic-related challenges, these gifts provided much welcome joy.
The Blackbriar Group Morgan Stanley team that has provided Thanksgiving meals for our families for many years again filled tubs of traditional food for each of our 18 families, plus a gift card to purchase additional items of choice. Branch Manager Erik Johnson noted that while Thanksgiving would be different for many this year, “Our commitment to our neighbors-in-need remains solid.”
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Northwest Real Estate, also longtime sponsors providing holiday food for FUSION families, assembled festive gift baskets and poinsettias for this year’s giving. Kathy Gendron and Susie Horan coordinated the production.
Lennar provided Bluetooth wireless headphones to surprise each child in the FUSION Housing program on Christmas morning. Members of the Lennar Marketing Team also helped deliver gifts and baskets.
