Hello Friends of FUSION,
Today is an unprecedented day in the history of FUSION’s 28 years in operation in Federal Way and Northeast Tacoma as we welcome our first families into the Pete Andersen FUSION Family Center. Here they will find hope, understanding, unconditional love and the support and resources necessary to begin the healing process and find self-sufficiency.
What started as a vision with Peggy LaPorte, Byron Hiller, Pete von Reichbauer and Frank Chopp is now a reality after two years of fund development, planning, renovation and now fruition! And we are blessed to open our doors on Christmas Eve of all days!
It is a privilege and honor to be a part of this project along with so many helping hearts and hands from Volunteers, Staff and Community Members. This project will critically impact families with children and the community for many years to come. We are deeply appreciative to all who had a hand in the enormous amount of work that has been done to get us where we are today.
